LA Alternative metallers VIZA have revealed the UK release details of new album 'Aria' – the long anticipated follow up record to 2011’s 'Carnivalia'. It’s set for a release via Graviton on April 14th.
Recorded at Swinghouse Studios in Hollywood, CA, 'Aria' embodies a groundbreaking effort for the band – a provocative narrative which reflects the unique – and always evolving – sounds of VIZA.
“Expect a more mature sound with plenty of the same ole fictional narration that has made our songs enjoyable” says frontman K’noup. “This album is a significant statement – both from an artistic perspective – but also in more basic human terms as a family of musicians creating together and inspiring each other. We have tremendous energy and passion that infuses itself throughout our writing, and we are eager and excited to share it with fans all over the world…” adds Oud player Andrew.

The band are currently supporting SKINDRED on their mammoth tour of the UK.
"After wrapping up a successful Kickstarter campaign, we've been so inspired by the unwavering support of our fans and friends and are quite eager to join Skindred and Soil on their UK tour this month” continues Andrew. “Very exciting to share the stage with such great artists and in such vintage venues. Our upcoming release of Aria will also give fans a chance to hear our most recent work - the UK should brace itself for an infusion of Viza's unique sound!"
