Now in early 2015 Jennie returns with her upcoming single Wolf, which saw her work alongside producer and long-term colleague Johannes Berglund (The Knife, Shout Out Louds, Owen Pallet). It’s clear that Peter Gabriel’s massive, densely intricate art-rock sound has influenced Abrahamson’s own material in parts, but it’s undeniable to say Jennie has gradually developed her own idiosyncratic style within the very sought after experimental Scandi-pop. Wolf has a smooth and subtle production, with a vying drumbeat that resembles Kate Bush’s 80s hit Running Up That Hill and Rae Morris’ recent Under The Shadows.

Jennie has just completed a tour supporting former Genesis frontman Peter Gabriel on his mammoth world tour, covering 9 countries over the last 2-months, helping her drawing comparisons to Kate Bush recently. She fills in for the latter live onstage with Peter including on his famous hit Don’t Give Up drawing a great reception both live and in press, many suggesting she suitably conquers one of Bush’s greatest vocals including great coverage in The Times, Q Magazine & The Line Of Best Fit.
