MOONSORROW to Ragnarök Festival

Many of you have wished for them to be a part of RAGNARÖK - so now we are really very proud to be able to confirm MOONSORROW as the latest addition to the billing 2015!

Today we are practising some action on the bulling of RAGNARÖK 2015:

AMORPHIS will be the second main act at RR 2015 - and they will perform one of their great and rare "Tales From The Thousand Lakes"-classic set!! The second additon to the billing is LUX DIVINA.

Unfortunately HELRUNAR hat to cancel their appearance at RAGNARÖK 2015 - they will be replaced by NARGAROTH!

How to get to Ragnarök Festival?

By car
Since 01.01.2008 Lichtenfels is connected to the German Autobahn network via the A 73 (Nürnberg - Bamberg [crossing A 70] - Lichtenfels - Suhl). Thanks to the federal roads B 173 and B 289 Lichtenfels is easy to reach from all directions. When you are in Lichtenfels just follow the sign with "Schützenplatz" or "Stadthalle" on it. Please do mind the information on parking below!

By train
Lichtenfels' railway station is only 10min of walking away from the city hall. Every hour there are trains from and to Nuremberg, Bamberg / Würzburg, Coburg and Bayreuth / Hof. Every two hours the ICE/IC-train (Intercity Express / Intercity) "Munich - Nuremberg - Berlin" stops at Lichtenfels. By plane
The next international airport is in Nuremberg. You can use the underground train U2 to the main railway station of Nuremberg and then take a train to Lichtenfels.

Parking
The Schützenplatz is right in front of the city hall, which offers quite a lot of parking space (tarmac and gravel), which can be used for free. In order to use the capacities at best, it is not possible to put up a tent next to your car. There is a camping area behind the city hall, which means only 150-300m of walking to your car and only 100m of walking to the festival area. Of course you are allowed to sleep IN your car. Furthermore you have to follow the adviceof the police, security and position adapters.


Lichtenfels

Since 2006 Lichtenfels, which is a small city in Upper Franconia, is the host city of the Ragnarök Festival. Lichtenfels is next to the river Main and between the two cities Bamberg and Coburg. Being a city with 20.000 inhabitants, Lichtenfels offers about anything you need during a festival: supermarkets (Edeka, Aldi), cashpoints, and several other facilities at a near distance to the festival area.
