M´ era Luna 2013 announces new bands
Today the M´era Luna Festival 2013 surprises its fans by announcing plenty of new bands. The festival that takes place at Drispenstedt Airport Hildesheim on August 10th & 11th 2013 presents, next to headliners Nightwish, Him and ASP, post-industrial heroes Front Lline Assembly, Deathrocker The 69 Eyes and Norway’s high nobility Gothminister.
Furthermore the M´era Luna Festival shows its wide range of musical variety by presenting bagpipe-performer Cultus Ferox, The 80´s legends In The Nursery, Schwarzer Engel, The Arch, Eden Weint Im Grab and Rêverie on the hallowed airport grounds.
Besides the growing list of musical acts on two stages the M´era Luna Festival 2013 hosts special attractions like a medieval fair, scenic book readings, fashion shows, a full size gothic market and late night parties in the Disco Hangar, hence showing the dark scene in all its facets and once more making it to the center of the dark culture in Germany and all over the globe.

Since 2000, the M’era Luna festival has become one of the biggest dark music events of Germany, Europe and the world. Visitors spend an eventful camping-weekend in laid-back atmosphere at the grounds of the regional airport Hildesheim Drispenstedt, near Hannover. The festival is known and beloved for its first class music program (goth, metal, industrial), the familial atmosphere, the short distances at the festival grounds, the medieval and clothing fair, scene related readings, glamorous fashion shows and late night parties. All of these make the M’era Luna festival a special event for visitors from all over the globe. Every year more than 20.000 fans with extravagant outfits travel to Hildesheim, a town enjoying to welcome the guests ever since the first festival took place.

M’era Luna festival confirms both headliners, readings and eight more bands for 2013
With Finnish symphonic metal heavyweights Nightwish and dark rock titans HIM, M’era Luna Festival confirms both headliners at once. Fans of the darker sounds will also be delighted to hear, that besides the Finnish power-duo, electro-gothpoppers Blutengel, gothrockers Staubkind and industrial-wave-heroes The Klinik will be gracing the festival with their presence. The M'era Luna Festival takes place on the 10th and 11th of August 2013 and will feature more than 45 Bands of which we’d like to announce the following here as well: IAMX, Nachtmahr, Diorama, Clan Of Xymox and Lord Of The Lost.
After two successful years the hangar readings will take place as well. We’re proud to announce Kai Meyer who will read from his multiple works, together with gothrock artist ASP. Further readings feature Markus Heitz, Boris Koch and Christian von Aster.
