| Elukas In the fall of 2021, Elukas started as a 5-member punk-rock band, and the main goal was to write, record and perform their own music. The first concert was given on 25th March 2022. In May, the band went to the Sinusoid studio to record 3 singles. Shortly after the studio visit, the band held a three-day writing camp at the drummer’s summer house to compose new music and finalize the songs on the live setlist. In the late summer of the same year, the band’s original bass player Mikk decided to leave the band, therefore singer Karl took on bass duties as well (he also did it at the band’s debut concert). In the fall of 2022, three singles were released atmonthly intervals (“Metanoia” 30th of September, “Hullumaja Puhvet” 31st of October, and “Ajurünnak”25th of November). The single “Ajurünnak” was voted to the Estonian radio station RockFM December of 2022 TOP-5 by radio listeners, and was also to the 3rd place in the Estonian music category in the Rock Anthem Anthem of the Year. The same single was also chosen as the debut of the week by estonian radio station Raadio2. Since Karl broke his wrist two weeks before the concert in January, Alan was asked to fill in on the bass for this concert. After the concert, he was asked to join the band permanently. He did. At the end of February, the band moved into the studio (actually the drummer’s 40+-year-old summerhouse, endowed to him by his grandparents) to record 5 songs in one week. The result is debut EP “Loomad Koos” which was released 23rd June on colored splatter vinyl and digitally on all streaming platforms. First single “Vein” (released 7th April 2023) from theEP was voted to top 5 best new rock songs by estonian radio statio RockFM listeners in April 2023. Most important gigs this year for Elukas have been Barbar Feast 2023 festival, Heavy Music Estonia showcase day in October 2023 and EP promo mini tour in Rakvere, Tartu, Valga and Tallinn, Estonia. In total the band has given 16 concerts this year. On Monday 23rd October Elukas announced sining with legendary Italian label WormHoleDeath to re-relase debut EP “Loomad Koos” worldwide digitally and on CD. The band is currenlty preparing for 2024 spring/summer season gigs and writing material for full lenght album. Since 2024 the band has performed even more, in March the band made its first two-part mini-tour in the Baltcs. In May the band started with their 12th performance, which makes a total of 33 performances in two years. The band is prepared for several performances in May and June. Elukas has roughly 1h long performace set. Elukas recently relased song ‘’Raudilves’ and the next song will be revealed soon. A bit of the band’s creation by the band’s singer and songwriter Karl: Raudilves "Iron lynx" Is a story about good people. Humans turn bad because of how they are treated. Evil creates evil. There are no inherently bad people.
