ENDLESS SUMMER FESTIVAL…food, music & entertainment for all!
The first annual Endless Summer Festival is a celebration of food, music and the arts….running from 12 noon until 9.00pm across the three days between Christmas and New Year.
Set to run from December 27-29 the hot new Endless Summer Festival features a fresh approach to festival food and entertainment, based in the beautiful surrounds of Gunnamatta Park (beside the bay!) in Cronulla.
THE MUSIC
An amazing mix of award winning Australian musicians will come together for the Endless Summer Festival, ensuring the best summer vibes….all for FREE!
Each day there will be live music from midday until 9pm in the evening, with cutting edge acts pumping out tunes in the Tradies Amphitheatre.
The sound of summer will hit the inaugural Endless Summer Festival with an amazing free music line-up including Touch Sensitive, Dustin Tebbutt, Amy Meredith, The Preatures, Bluejuice, Asta, Strangers, Shinobi, Marlin Zando, Skryptcha and I am Apollo, with organisers Southside Events also bringing a visual sensory experience in the way of large scale live art displays throughout the three day festival.
THE ART
A vibrant line-up of local artistic talent will see well known Shire based artists including Kuulof, Mulga, Those Jazz Cats, Craig Hemstead, Corbin Nash, G’Lato, Nathan Johnston, Sam Kane, Mark Lindsell, Pippa Marie, Ouch! and more painting live in front of the public on eight specially constructed large scale pyramids that will be dotted around the park. THE FOOD
All catering will be managed by the renowned team at The Old Library in Cronulla, part of the Southside Events stable, who will serve rustic Italian fare (and matching wine partner Lisa McGuigan Wines and Asahi beer) that will be available at the Endless Summer Festival.
Hunger pains will be cured by food will be prepared by leading local chefs whilst your thirst can be quenched at any of the bars (over 10 bars in the venue) as the perfect accompaniment to any meal. There is an endless amount of food options that beat the normal festival grub by a mile.
The Great Australian BBQ – because there is nothing more Australian than a Summer BBQ. Catering to your nostalgia of an Australian summer with family classics like the sausage sanga, roast beef rolls with chutney and skewers of BBQ chicken and lamb ribs by the dozen
The Old Library favourites – Mario Kalpou (Festival founder) and executive Chef David Magill present you signature dishes with irresistible Italian flare such as arancini, iconic zucchini flowers and crispy fresh calamari or tuck into some sensational summer salads and relish in a ricotta cannoli.
Lisa McGuigan Wines – with her modern take on winemaking across varieties and regions, Lisa makes this wine handcrafted, hand sold and made to be shared with friends. There could not be a more perfect occasion.
Asahi Beer – this delicate yet rich, full-flavoured beer is the required refreshment for the Endless Summer Festival.
Foodies Deli Café – a local favourite will deliver delicious coffee and wholesome meals.
Cooked & Co – must have mouth-watering burgers by Cooked and Co make from scratch with quality and mostly organic ingredients.
Heart & Soul – will be serving up vegan delights in the form of the freshest salads, great koftas and curries, and for a sweet tooth try their tantalising chocolate brownies
Notaras Seafood - seasonal seafood sees cold buckets of prawns, freshly shucked oysters, fish and chips and a great range of salads
Old Library Gelato Bar – what a way for you and the kids to cool down with a huge array of delicious ingredients and frivolous flavours
Froyomobile – the coolest thing on 4 wheels with 4 delicious flavours and 18 different toppings
THE KIDS AND FAMILY
Whether you’re a toddler or an adult the Endless Summer Community Festival has fun entertainment intertwined in the gumtrees by the water for everyone!
For the kids there’s jumping castles, interactive art, face painting and many more fun activities to keep them entertained. For the teens and adults there will be pop up fashion retail stores, paddle boarding or the opportunity to test limits in the True Grit obstacle course.
The founders of True Grit have a combined 33 years’ experience in the Australian Army with the last 20 years in the Special Forces. Be challenged at the Endless Summer Festival with True Grit’s unique obstacle courses tailored around the terrain of the land. Their aim is to deliver a truly unique experience to those who dare!
They will also be offering some incredible prizes for the fastest male and female through the course. 1st prize will be $300 cash each, 2nd prize will be a pair of 2XU True Grit full length Compressions which retail at approximately $140, and 3rd place will earn the winning Male and Female free entry into True Grit Sydney, worth $125.
“This Endless Summer Festival really will have something for everyone, from music, to great food and wine we feel our True Grit Challenge will complement the Festival well and give it that something extra that the general public wasn’t necessarily expecting,” said Todd Grant, National Marketing Manager for True Grit.
