Mancunians IN FAITH consists of seasoned rockers from the Manchester scene, and Pete Newdeck, whos´s in demand with his own TAINTED NATION and on tour with NEWMAN. Guitarist is Tony Marshall (Firefest), while vocals bass duties are handled by Pete Godfrey. Guests on the album are FURYON´s Pat Heath (“Radio” and the Japanese Bonus Track “Learn to Fly”) and Brooke St James of TYKETTO who plays the solo on “Where I Wanna Be”.

This album has quite a lot going for it; the vocals are spot on, the eighties feeling is predominant, the slight echoes of prominent acts of bygone days and not least the sheer strength of the material. Opener “Radio” has a great riff and all in all echoes of DEF LEPPARD, back in the day that is. “Does It Feel Like Love” has touches of my old faves TRIUMPH and a sympathetic groove. The cosiness of “Where I Wanna Be” is a tender effort with nice vocals from all. The only real letdown is “Leave Me Now” where the drums ids not up to par with Pete´s standard and it can´t even be saved by the pleasant acoustic guitar solo. But tracks like “Radio”, the 1987 revisited track “In Flames”, the rifferama of “Bitter End” and their soft spot “Where I Wanna Be” will put them on the radar awaiting their next move.
